WHY REGIONAL AUSTRALIA?
It's not just our home; in certain areas, it also offers more flexible migration opportunities for overseas workers to connect with Australian businesses through a DAMA
What is a DAMA?
A DAMA is a Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA).
It’s a formal agreement between the Australian Government and a regional, state or territory authority that provides access to more overseas workers than the standard skilled migration program.
-
There are currently 12 DAMAs in place in Australia.
LSR Connects is based in the Orana DAMA, NSW. So we know how to navigate the DAMA process.
-
It means for regional businesses in DAMA areas currently experiencing critical skills and labour shortages like automotive panel beating, spray-painting and mechanic businesses, it’s easier for you to sponsor skilled overseas workers.
-
The path to changing your life in Australia is easier:
• The permanent residency requirement is three years instead of five on a TSS visa.
• The age concession is increased to 55 instead of 45.
• The average International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score required is 5.0 with no component being less than 4.5. Lowered from a IELTS score of 6 that other visas require.
